I specialise in developing small websites for individuals, groups and small businesses. In particular, many of my clients are sole traders in the field of health and wellness.
By far the easiest way to see what is possible is to view some of the work I have done for other clients.
My background
I have been in the IT field for nearly 30 years and have been developing websites for about half of that time. One of my websites has been running more-or-less non-stop for 14 years.
I previously specialised in IT infrastructure design and still do some third-party consultancy work where I specialise in writing complex pre-sales documents in terms that non-IT-specialists can understand.
What I offer
Websites
I used to develope websites the hard way, coding all of the HTML and scripts myself. Since the advent of so-called Content Management Systems this is no longer viable for the majority of websites and I use CMS almost exclusively.
The use of popular Content Management Systems means:
- there are hundreds of add-ons available to provide: blogs, membership systems, on-line shops, calendars, video, slideshows, newsletters and mail-shots
- there are a great many developers out there who could support it without having to reinvent the wheel
Graphics
I am also able to produce custom graphics, banners, signage etc. for my clients.
It is a fairly straightforward exercise to take photos the client has taken and/or commercially available images and combine them to produce a "brand" look-and-feel for their website.
Where to next?
Although I live and work in New Zealand, distance is no real restriction and I have several customers overseas.
It is quite possible to develope a small website for less than NZ$1000, though it has to be said that many of those listed below were somewhat more than that.
Please have a look around and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Remember, if you don't know, you don't know, and the only way to find out is to ask!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
